Welcome to NEST – CoWork & Play, a first-of-its-kind family-friendly coworking and community space in Hamburg that finally lets you stop choosing between career and kids. We are the village for modern parents, founded by two moms who were tired of feeling torn, guilty, and left out. We built NEST as the solution we and our friends needed – and that parents everywhere have been dreaming of.
Here’s how it works: you get a calm, modern workspace, and just next door your little one is enjoying loving, Montessori-inspired, professional childcare in an age-appropriate play space. You can focus on that project or Zoom call guilt-free, knowing your baby or toddler is playing and learning in safe hands only a few steps away.
But there's more! We also offer a cozy café area that's available to both our members and the public, where parents can relax and little ones can play. Speaking of play – how about joining a music session with your kiddo, or taking a yoga class while they play next door? We host regular workshops and events specifically tailored to parents and their young children and facilitate tons of opportunities for you to meet like-minded people going through the same phases of life. Need quiet and zero interruptions for an important presentation? Reserve one of our meeting booths and book an optional 1:1-sitter for your little one, so you can focus, knowing they are happy and cared for. We even offer desks with attached baby play-pens and standing desks for baby-wearing parents.
We are big on flexibility, because we know first-hand how much that matters. Whether you’re a new mom eager to work just for a few hours a week, or have a part-time kita child and want to come in with them during afternoons to work full-time, or are a remote employee with a full-time schedule, we offer flexible memberships to fit your life.

What ages of children can NEST accommodate?
We welcome infants and children from 0 to around 5 years old. Our childcare is split into age-appropriate groups (under 3 and over 3), so your baby or toddler will play and learn in an environment tailored to their developmental stage. Montessori-inspired toys, arts and crafts spaces, reading nooks, movement rooms, climbing walls, tiny toilets – we’ve got it all at their level!.
What if I try NEST and it’s not right for me or my child?
We’re confident you’ll love it here, but we offer a risk-free trial to put you at ease. Take four weeks to settle in and see how NEST fits your family. If you’re not completely happy, you can cancel within those first 30 days. No stress, no hard feelings – your peace of mind and your child's happiness come first.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract or come every day?
Not at all. NEST is designed to be as flexible as your family’s needs. We have a range of membership options – from a few hours a week to full-time – and you can adjust, pause, or cancel as your schedule changes. Use our easy app to book space when you need it. No rigid commitments; just support and convenience when you want it.
How much does it cost?

How do I book a desk or sign up for an event?
Use our app to conveniently spot and secure available desks, in advance or spontaneously. You will also find all upcoming classes and special events in there to sign up for at your fingertips.
Is there a transition period for my child?
Absolutely. It is of utmost importance to us that both you and your little ones feel happy and comfortable with our caregivers. Upon joining, we will work out a tailored plan for you and your child to ease into the new environment and form a bond with the educators.
